We offer a wide array of metalworking services in our shop. From a fully custom shaped Fox, adding custom sights to a rifle, or sleeving a set of shotgun tubes – we can do it. Matthew Begley is an expert metalsmith and can help make your vision a reality.

Stockwork

Black Diamond Gunworks has two stockmakers in its employ, Matthew Begley and Matthew Horninger. Whichever is doing your stockwork you can rely on them to achieve the utmost in quality and attention to detail. We are fully equipped to restock your gun as well as provide a number of wood-related services to fit your needs. Whether it’s a full restock, a restoration project, or simply need a recoil pad fitted, trust that BDGW will take care of you.

Restoration

Refinishing and restoration are just two of the many things we excel at here at Black Diamond Gunworks. Whether a full metal and wood restoration is needed or simply a refresh of the finish and checkering is desired, we can help you out.

Repair

Rely on Black Diamond Gunworks to help service your treasured firearms. We can diagnose and repair most issues, replace parts, or even make a replacement part if needed. We specialize in vintage side-by-sides and are experts in keeping these heirlooms working as they were designed for years to come.

Checkering
